Srinagar, February 05 (KNO) : Lashing out at BJP-RSS for playing with the emotions of people for the sake of electoral gains, Congress leader Kadfeen Chowdhary on Tuesday emphasized the people to give a befitting reply to BJP and other forces by casting their vote in favour of the Congress Party in the upcoming elections. Addressing a meeting of party workers belonging to ST Community from various areas of Kashmir province, Kadfeen as per a statement issued to KNO urged upon the party workers to get united and defeat the designs of BJP-RSS and those forces who want to vitiate peace to serve their vested interests besides creating wedge between the communities for the sake of coming into power. “Congress party believes in uniting people rather than dividing them and it will continue to work as bridge among the communities to protect the harmony and brotherhood in the country and State,” he said. He said that Congress believes in safeguarding the secular fabric of the country, as that, it is the Congress Party alone which stands guarantee to multiplicity, secular fabric, harmony and diversity in the country. Kadfeen also urged upon the cadres to strengthen the party further and ensure that the designs of anti-people and anti-peace forces are defeated in the larger interests of people.(KNO)
